Pie and Family

Today we had dinner with Mom and Dad. Mom made biscuits with chicken and mushroom gravy. My contribution was a couple of peach pies. We enjoyed the evening, dinner was yummy, and the pie hit the spot after dinner. I had been craving some peach pie and I think it turned out pretty well!

The Sentry

Lucky feels the need to stand guard over Nathan. On this particular day Nathan woke up while I was in the shower. Lucky came into the bathroom to let me know that he was crying and then promptly returned to his post. When I came into the room I got a look from Lucky letting me know that this was not acceptable and that I needed to respond more quickly in the future!

New Skill

Nathan is working very hard on a new skill. When placed on his tummy on the floor he kicks his feet and pushes until he flips himself onto his side. At this point he gets stuck with one arm pinned underneath him. He hasn't quite figured out how to continue, but it is only a matter of time until he makes it all the way over onto his back.

Being raised right! He is a Cats fan from the start.

Baking and Swinging

While Nathan snoozed and enjoyed a little time in his swing, I baked a loaf of pumpkin bread for David. Mom brought some over yesterday and it was gone within an hour of David getting home from work! I would have made more, but I ran out of eggs and sugar. I guess a trip to the grocery store is in order. :)

Bath Time

Relaxing after bath time, Nathan decided his thumb tasted good. You can't beat a nice massage with sweet smelling lotion!

3 Weeks Old

We have reached the 3 week mark as of today! And...drum roll please...I wore a pair of pre-pregnancy pants today! Ta-da! I know, not earth shattering news to most of you out there, but exciting to me :P And after stretching to the above dimensions I feel like it is quite the feat.
